Comprehensive Plan
Town of Sharptown, Maryland
Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., was selected to revamp Sharptown’s Comprehensive Plan to meet the changing needs of the community and to bring the plan into compliance with House Bill 1141 legislation. Sharptown submitted their 2008 draft Comprehensive Plan to the State Clearinghouse and Wicomico County in May 2008. The Plan was adopted on August 18, 2008 making Sharptown the first municipality on the Eastern Shore, and possibly in the State, to become fully compliant with the requirements of House Bill 1141. Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. also performs as the Town Engineer, including providing water and wastewater services, and monitoring industrial wastewater compliance.
