Town of Cheswold, Delaware
The Town of Cheswold is a community of approximately 750 persons located within a largely developed area of old industrial sites and highway strip commercial uses. The Town engaged Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., to assist in a modernization of its zoning and subdivision ordinance (now combined into a unified code), in order to attract new housing development into the Town.
As new development has occurred, Cheswold further requested our staff to complete a Comprehensive Plan for the Town to look at potential growth in the area through 2030. The draft Comprehensive Plan is slated for review by the Town by June 2008. Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., will also be assisting Cheswold with the Comprehensive Rezoning process after adoption of the Comprehensive Plan. |
