Milford Street Office Complex
Salisbury, Maryland
A business/professional complex constructed in six phases, the six single-story buildings (total 70,000 SF) house a variety of medical offices and laboratories supporting Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Each building is clad in brick and wood siding, in order to give the complex a residential character.
At the request of a local general contractor / developer, Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. provided architectural and structural engineering services for this design/build project, assisting in the design of the complex. The services provided included schematic design of each building shell. Upon developer approval of schematic designs, Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc, prepared limited construction documents suitable for pricing and building permit review. In addition, Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. worked with the developer and individual tenants in the development of tenant plans. These tenant spaces typically ranged in size from 1,800 square feet to 5,000 square feet.
