Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art
Salisbury, Maryland

A new facility designed for the home of the Ward Foundation and its internationally recognized collection of wildfowl art. Carving classrooms and education facilities were incorporated within the building. Architectural, surveying, civil and structural engineering services were provided.

American Visionary Art Museum
Baltimore, Maryland

Preserving the facade of the historic former Trolleyworks building on Baltimore's Inner Harbor, this facility houses one of the nation's most acclaimed collections of "outsider" art, along with accompanying offices and support functions. The reinforced and post-tensioned concrete structure utilizes dramatic curves and long cantilevers for a unique combination of old and new. Project architecture, structural engineering, and project site representation services were provided. Design architects: Castro Swanston Architects.

Smith Island Center
Smith Island, Maryland

This Chesapeake Bay Island cultural facility serves as both a tourist destination and gathering place for the islanders. The center is accessible only by boat and contains exhibits highlighting life on the island.
