Municipal Buildings

Henlopen Acres Town Hall
Henlopen Acres, Delaware


A new facility to house the City's administrative offices and council chamber. Architectural, structural and civil engineering services were provided.

Water Treatment Facility
Delmar, Maryland


Located across the street from the original water treatment plant, the new water treatment facility replicates the Federal period architectural design of existing buildings. Water treatment includes pumping well water into a packed tower aerator to remove carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide.

Water System Improvements
Henlopen Acres, Delaware


As part of the Water System Improvements project for Henlopen Acres, Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., provided architectural, structural and civil engineering services for the new water treatment facility. Full engineering design and construction phase services for the water distribution system and treatment facility improvements were also provided. The water treatment facility design included aeration, chlorination and lime feed with concrete reservoir and high lift pumps.
