Our Work
 From
project planning to completion, Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc.,
offers full-service capabilities. This multi-disciplined aspect of
our firm gives clients better project coordination, communication,
and cost control.
 For land planning / site development, initial
services include property feasibility studies and analyses, often
using geographic information systems (GIS). Once a
site has been determined, civil engineering services include surveying, site engineering, subdivision and storm water management
design, as well as water and wastewater systems design. For
municipal services, we have planning and
design departments which specialize in water, wastewater and street infrastructure. We
work closely with the
various regulatory agencies which oversee the permitting and
approval process for site related projects.
 Building
design services, namely architecture and
structural engineering, are
available for project types ranging from small commercial buildings
or complexes to large industrial facilities design. We have
specialized experience in the design of projects within Maryland,
Delaware, and Virginia, which often require special environmental
considerations.
The extent of our
services can vary widely. If you are primarily interested in ideas,
we can provide preliminary sketches at minimal cost. For more
sophisticated concept development, we use state-of-the-art computer
graphics to provide three dimensional renderings and walkthroughs.
